13 years ago, I combined two great passions, bed & breakfasts and traveling, and created Innsitter Inc. I provide innkeepers with the ability to leave their inn for rest, rejuvenation, travel, or other commitments, all while having the peace of mind that their inn and visitors are in my capable hands.
I have provided my services from Nantucket, MA to Victoria, BC and 21 beautiful inns in between. I am both a US and Canadian citizen, so I have the ability to work across borders, and love to explore both countries. Some inns require my services on an as-needed basis, while others have seen me return 10+ times. The owners I have worked for express their confidence in my ability to handle situations from providing scrumptious breakfasts to dealing with maintenance or service or guest issues that arise.
When I am not traveling to inns, I live in Edmonton, Alberta. I was raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and moved to Canada after marrying my best friend. We later relocated to Minneapolis, MN for 15 years before recently returning back to Canada to be near family and live the life we truly wanted.
I enjoy solo hiking and camping, and have found that knitting is a great way to pass the Canadian winter days. When I visit your inn, I immerse myself in the local experience, not just for my enjoyment, but so that I can also provide recommendations to your guests. I seem to always find my way to great coffee, books, or yarn wherever I am.
My goal is to make sure your guests miss you but not the service you provide.
